A little denim jacket done boutique style with retro country charm!

This upcycled 12 months jacket is unique with its vintage embellishments. The front and back have pieces of authentic 1940s barkcloth with wonderful rural scenery patterns.

The barkcloth is the real deal--from the 1940s, with rural scenes from times past. One front yoke has a man on a horse-drawn plow. The other yoke is an idyllic farmhouse set in the country. The back yoke shows a horse-drawn carriage going down the road. The back panel--my favorite--is a view of a little child holding Daddy's hand as they cross the bridge to go fishing.

The collar and cuffs are trimmed with rust colored cotton with a cream colored windowpane check. The edges are frayed for an extra fun look!

The style is like what you might find at a wonderful little boutique at twice the price!

Each piece of fabric is carefully sewn to the jacket with all edges either turned under and sewn close to the edge, or zigzag stitched and then fringed.

The finished look is professional and the garment is guaranteed to last!
