Pictures made from fabric (landscape quilts, picture quilts, etc.) are really interesting and different. The problem Ive encountered when giving pieces as gifts is, even though they have a hanging sleeve, people still dont quite know what to do with them. Sometimes people frame the pieces behind glass, which defeats the purpose of adding texture to a piece by quilting, appliqué, etc.

This collection will include pictures for all seasons and holidays. I can even create a custom picture just for you!

The creation process takes several hours of very detailed work. Many separate pieces of fabric are cut, layered and sewn together to create the basic picture.. Then the piece is layered with batting and backing. Surface techniques include thread painting, (stitching with colored thread), topstitching, quilting, silk ribbon embroidery, painting with various mediums, and embellishing with whatever works! Next the edges are finished and a sleeve is attached for hanging
