Just Ducky! thats what I call this upcycled denim purse! My original design, its a good sized bucket bag for all your necessities.



This slouchy style purse features appliques from a darling retro-style cotton fabric and coordinating prints. I put in close-up photos of the ducks--I think theyre so cute! Theyre bonded and stitched with a decorative buttonhole stitch for that retro feel.



The denim is complimented with sort of a patchwork of red, cream, black, yellow and green fabrics. The decorative topstitching is all done in a heavier black thread. The bottom of the bag (denim) is oval so it maintains its shape.



The back of the purse has a nice big pocket for your cellphone and keys. Its secured with a little velcro, too.



The interior is lined with a soft red pinstripe and has a little lipstick-sized pocket. The top of the bag closes securely with red velcro tabs.



Thesturdy denim handle is extra long so you can carry the bag across your body.



Since the bag is soft all cotton--just throw it in the washer and dryer!

When I saw this adorable duck fabric, I just had to buy some--the purse was an excuse! And I love recycled denim!
