A Memory Quilt makes a wonderful and unique keepsake and family heirloom.

Memory Quilts make the perfect gift for all ages, from children to the elderly. They can be made as lap quilts, bed quilts, or wall hangings.

Memory Quilts can be made from sports or travel Tshirts, sweatshirts, baby or children's clothing, shirts, ties, suits, etc.

The process is simple for you! When you contact me, tell me approximately what size quilt you'd like (lap size, crib, twin, etc.) and what type of clothing you are wanting to incorporate, and about how much of it you have. I will respond with an email about how many items to send (freshly laundered) and options for design ideas and any further questions I may have.

Styles of quilts are varied....some clients want traditional square pieces (these are what you mostly see on the internet) but I can do lots more than that! Crazy piecing is fun (especially for children's quilts) and then there are whole-garment quilts, where an entire set of jammies or a beautiful dress are applied to the quilt top.

Photos can be transferred to fabric and incorporated into the quilt, too! Other types of personalization are available, as well.

My process is to work closely with you, via emails, photos of the work in process, and phone calls if you like.

After we establish a size and approx. price, I will need 50% down. Then I will ask for the balance only after were sure you are happy with the results. After I receive the balance I will ship the piece to you.

The first quilt pictured is 1 of 5 that I made for a widow from her husband's plaid shirts. He LOVED plaid shirts and the daughter caught her mother about to throw out all of Dad's shirts. She knew there was something that could be done with them.

They came to me with 2 big garbage bags of shirts and an order for 5 lap-size quilts, 1 for the widow and 1 for each of 4 daughters.

1 daughter had given her dad a sweatshirt from her college, and I incorporated that shirt into her quilt for her.

They loved how I creatively incorporated different parts of the shirts, like cuffs and button tabs, into the quilts as well.
