"Pink Ranunculus" Is an Art Quilt Postcard, 4x6 in size.

A photo of a pink Ranuculus flower was printed onto cotton fabric, then appliqued over a piece of randomly painted fabric. A small butterfly cut from another fabric is flitting near the flower. The photo and background are accented with freemotion quilting in clear thread. It is bound with a bright pink variegated colored yarn, couched on the edges with variegated thread.

Fiber Quilted Postcards are small works of art that can be displayed in many ways; framed, mounted on fabric covered, stretched artist canvases; or even on a plate stand or grouped in a decorative box or basket. The back is just like an ordinary post card, and can be mailed to someone. They are backed with a pale, white, or ivory fabric, that can be written on using gel pens for scrapbooking. A first class stamp is needed to mail them as they are, or they can be mailed in an envelope. They are a great gift and card in one!
