Art Quilt Pin- Bead Embellished Christmas Tree Shaped, Aqua and White. Appx. 1 1/2"x 2" in size. Fabrics in shades of green, stitched with silver metallic thread. Edged in white yarn stitched with silver thread. Hand beaded with assorted glass beads, crystals and pearls in shades of aqua, light turquoise and white, with a glass star bead at the top of the tree.

The back on this pin also allows for use as a pendant, by pinning it onto a necklace or chain you already have. Art quilt pins look great on lapels, sweaters, or blouses to add a little glitz to any outfit. They also can be used to jazz up an evening bag.

My Art Quilt Pins came about when I had collected an abundance of very small scraps of beautiful quilt sandwiches, (pieces of batting with fabric fused to both sides). Many of the fabrics were ones that I had painted myself. I started stitching pieces together into mini crazy quilts, then embellished them with beading, and the Art Quilt Pin was born. They are fabric on the back, also, and stiff enough to hold up well while being worn. These little gems are one of a kind originals that give me a way to express myself and play with the beads, crystals, and fibers that I have been collecting.
