Peach and Brown Fan with Orange Glass Heart Beaded Art Quilt Pin. Appx. 2"x2" in size.

Shades of peach and brown fabrics, stitched with gold metallic thread. Edged in white yarn stitched on with gold thread. Hand beaded with assorted glass beads in clear, black, and orange. White with gold accent rectangles and a pair of peach cats eye beads also add to the composition. There is an orange glass heart bead at the base. This will coordinate with many fall outfits. The back on this pin also allows for use as a pendant, by pinning it onto a necklace, cord or chain you already have. Art quilt pins look great on lapels, sweaters, or blouses to add a little glitz to any outfit. They also can be used to jazz up an evening bag.

The second Photo shows the pin next to a ruler for size reference, and the third photo shows it on a chain as a pendant. (chain not included)

My Art Quilt Pins came about when I had collected an abundance of very small scraps of beautiful "quilt sandwiches", (pieces of batting with fabric fused to both sides). Many of the fabrics were ones that I had painted myself, and I started stitching pieces together into mini crazy quilts, then embellished them with beading, and the Art Quilt Pin was born. They are fabric on the back also, and stiff enough to hold up well while being worn. These little gems are one of a kind originals that give me a way to express myself and play with the beads, crystals, and fibers that I have been collecting.
