Set of 4 Crazy quilted Pumpkin Place Mats- 12.5" X 17.75".
These unique placemats are made from an assortment of quality cotton fabrics. The center panels of each are a fabric printed with beautiful pumpkins, leaves and flowers in shades of orange with ivory background. These placemats are pieced with the raw edges exposed that will softly ravel to add to their uniqueness. Each seam is stitched with a straight stitch along with a decorative stitch for durability. The mats are made to be reversible, with a green fabric on the other side. The edges are bound with 3 rounds of stitching attaching a soft green yarn. Extra stitching keeps the layers of the mats from shifting.
The batting used is a polyester that holds up very well to years of use and washing without much shrinking. These placemats were machine washed and dried after construction. These are very easy to care for- just toss in the washer and dryer. Touch up with an iron if you want, but it is not necessary. A closeup photo shows the soft raveling after washing and drying.

No two sets of my placemats will ever be exactly the same. I am using pieces left from mats I made in the past. I use the shapes of the pieces to guide me in designing them.
