Green, Burgundy and Rose Scrap Beauty Quilt- 43"x52"
This beautiful quilt in shades of green, dusty rose, burgundy and beige, will make a great accent to any couch, chair, or even a wall. This is just the right size to snuggle under in chilly weather. The top is made from many different fabrics left from various quilting projects. High quality fabrics are mostly 100% cotton, with one or two poly blends. The backing is a light colored small print in shades of green with pink on a white background.

The hand guided, or freemotion machine quilting is done with a variegated thread in soft colors found in many fabrics. The quilting pattern in the body of the quilt is a heart shaped leaf and swirl pattern. The border is quilted in vinelike design with matching green thread.

This quilt is completely machine wash and dryable, and has been pre-washed with a hypo-allergenic detergent. The batting is 100% polyester that will hold up to repeated washing, and the edges are finished with a double fold binding stitched with a decorative machine stitch. The quilt will get softer after each washing.

Fabric scraps seem to multiply rapidly.... I have begun to find uses for various bits, pieces, and chunks of beautiful yardage left from previous projects. My Tote Bags, Lap Quilts, and more items combine many different prints, solids, and even some of my own hand painted fabrics.
