Pair of Beaded Hair Clips- Aqua with Butterfly and Lady Bug. Appx. 1x2 each.

Here is a pair of quilted and beaded hair clips of an aqua painted fabric, decorated with a multicolored eyelash yarn. Glass beads in clear, aqua, turquoise, and green, add more interest. One clip has a gold tone butterfly, and the other has a gold tone lady bug. The edges are bound with a black chenille yarn stitched on with clear thread.

The clips on the back are stitched and glued on for security, and hold securely in anyones hair.

One photo shows the clips beside a ruler to show you the size.

My Art Quilt Jewelry came about when I had collected an abundance of very small scraps of beautiful quilt sandwiches, (pieces of batting with fabric fused to both sides). Many of the fabrics were ones that I had painted myself, and I started stitching pieces together into mini crazy quilts, then embellished them with beading, and Art Quilt Jewelry was born. They are fabric on the back also, and stiff enough to hold up well while being worn. These little gems are one of a kind originals that give me a way to express myself and play with the beads, crystals, and fibers that I have been collecting.
