Quilted ACEO "Chickadee on the Grass" Original Fiber Art Card- 2.5"x3.5". #5,#6,#7,or #8 Available. Medium used- Watercolor pencil on Cotton fabric, accented with quilting. The grasses are stitched with gold metallic thread to give them the shimmery look of bright winter sun on them.

This listing shows 4 different cards in the series of 8. Photos of each are shown as a group and singly. You are purchasing ONE card, Please choose the number of the piece you would like from the second photo. If no choice is made, I will send the lowest numbered card available. Colors may differ slightly on your monitor, but are the close on mine- Close-up photos are a better match on my screen.

These ACEO's are made from sketches of the fun Chickadees that I have been watching. Four different poses are available, and extra photos show multiple cards on an 8x10" canvas to give you display ideas and to help you visualize the size of the cards.

My Art cards are tiny art quilts made with 3 layers- heavy interfacing is used between the top and backing fabric. The back side is signed, numbered and dated with the name of the piece.

These are One-Of-A-Kind pieces that can never be reproduced exactly... Each bird has it's own personality. It would make a great addition to a nature lover's collection.

The Chickadees are from my new series of Winter Bird Art Cards, inspired by the antics of the birds that have been visiting my feeders this winter.

I have also been using a new set of watercolor pencils, which is a new experience for me.
