"Christmas Rose with Butterfly" Mini Art Quilt for framing 8"x10". Reg Price- $45This quilt is variation of my "Botanical Prints" collection. The flowers and butterfly have been cut out and appliqued to a background of scraps of various ivory fabrics. It is bordered by a hand painted and salted blue fabric to resemble a mat. The border is freemotion quilted with my favorite border vinelike design, and flowers and butterfly are also highlighted with quilting. This quilt can be displayed in a standard 8"x10" frame, 11"x14" frame with a mat, mounted on a pre-stretched artist canvas, or hang any way you wish. A couple more detailed photos are included.

100% cotton fabric and acrylic fabric paints are used for my hand painted fabrics. Paint is applied to the cotton, then the fabric is scrunched, wrinkled, pleated, or salted while the paint is still wet. The colors move and change during the drying process. Each piece of fabric is an original piece of art by itself
