"Spring Flowers" Bead Embellished Photo Art Quilt- 8x10

Photos of Dogwood and Snow Glory flowers printed onto cotton fabric are featured in this art quilt. The photos are accented by fused crazy patch of assorted fabrics in white and pale colors. The outer border is a piece of my hand painted fabric in a rainbow of colors. The flowers are quilted with a clear thread, while the borders are quilted with a vinelike design using a pastel variegated thread.

Flower centers are embellished with beads hand stitched on. There are also metallic butterflies with more glass beads accenting the crazy patch areas. Black chenille yarn is couched around the photos and borders.

This Art Quilt is another using photos of flowers that I have taken. Photos are printed onto cotton or silk fabric, using pigment based, archival inks. This work of art can be framed, mounted on artist canvas, or displayed any way you wish. Each are one-of-a-kind originals.
