This simplistic necklace measures 18.5 inches in length and features premium pink opal smoothly polished rondelles interspersed with gorgeous faceted natural ruby rounds all hand wire wrapped using sterling silver wire.



The rubies are natural, undyed and non heat treated thus presenting an array of dusty rose hues.



The sterling silver chain as shown has an oxidized patina (darkened) with sterling silver generous lobsterclaw clasp closure that's easy to work with.

Meant to fall somewhere near the collar bone, this is a modified choker style. I purchased these rare pink opal rondelles from my friend Dani of DG Designs in Texas and was keen to work them into a vintage style neck piece that would best showcase their delicate color. The natural undyed and non-heat treated ruby faceted rounds are simply superb, presenting plenty of sparkle from their precise facets. This creation makes a wonderful Valentine's, Mother's Day, July (ruby) birthstone or October (opal) birthstone gift.
