California Poppy - original ACEO illustration

This ACEO started out a bit larger. While cleaning out my Dads place during his recent move, I found the old artwork and decided to cut it up and give it new life as an ACEO. This ones a bargain - an original for only $15 - because its recycled/repurposed!

For this mini illustration I used India ink and watercolor on watercolor paper.

I have initialed the illustration on the front and signed it on the back. Ive also included the title "Poppy" on the back. The drawing is enclosed in a clear plastic sleeve.

ACEOs (Art Cards, Editions & Originals) are mini artworks that are the size of a baseball trading card - always 2.5" x 3.5" or vice versa. ACEOs can be original art, photos or prints of an artists work. They are a great way to collect affordable art. ACEOs may be matted, framed, traded, given as a gift within a greeting card, etc. They may be small, but they are packed full of arty goodness!
