The story behind the "Flippy-books" series:

I wanted to offer a fun and affordable collection of my work to folks. After agonizing over the most 'logical' way to batch my and others' favorite images, I realized there were some 'themes' or feelings that seem to run through my work. I sat down and 'felt out' five of those themes, and the books just happened!

"Wanderlust" tells a mosaic story of restlessness, travel, exploration and adventure. The images include striking photos taken in places as diverse as Sicily, rural Tennesee, California and Chicago as well as illustrations, paintings and drawings that evoke a spirit of curiosity and exploration.

"Joy+Mischief" is populated with fun, intriguing, devious or clever characters and moments of joy, celebration, togetherness and, well, mischief.

"Fire+Fury" features pictures that speak of passion, intensity, fire in its various forms (flame, volcano), as well as seduction, love, anger and death.

"Grace" is a flow of images from my mind and from the world that capture elegance, affection, hope, transformation and the inspiring beauty of nature.

"Dream" is a collection of images collected and created over many years that evoke a sense of mind-wandering and dreamy exploration. Some of the pictures are fantastical, some light-hearted, some dark like nightmares, some represent symbols that repeat throughout my psyche and human history.
