I will create beautiful art from your bridal, children, pet, family, home, or trip image. Each commissioned work is created carefully stroke by stroke with state of the art natural media software and a digital stylus pen, in the impressionist style, using many traditional painting methods.

This is not a push button or digital filter process, but a careful stroke by stroke digitally created work of art.

Your finished art work is printed with archival quality inks on 8x10 Epson Fine Art Velvet Paper and sealed with a clear varnish.

I require a good (sharp, focused, hi-res) digital jpeg image to work from. If you do not have a scanner, mail me your photo and I will take good care of it and return it with your finished painting. You must own the copyright for the image you send me to work from, or provide written permission from the photographer who owns the copyright.

Allow two weeks for your finished painting. An image of your finished painting will be emailed to you for your approval before printing. I will work on each new commission in the order it is received.

If you have a deadline for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc) I will work very hard to meet your deadline.

As a child and teenager I loved to draw and paint with traditional acrylics. After a failed attempt to win a scholarship to a prestigious art school I settled into everyday life in the south. In my 20's I fell in love with photography and creating beautiful images with my Canon camera.

After a 33 year career with the federal government, much of it spent learning computer and graphic skills, I retired. I then started my own photography studio and became successful at creating photographic portraits for children, teens and families. However in 2009, an injury to my back ended that career suddenly and I unfortunately had to sell my studio.

During my photography career I had been drawn to digital painting and had taken training from several of today's digital painting masters (Jeremy Sutton, Darrell Chitty, Marilyn Sholin and many others).

Now in my second retirement I am devoting my efforts to creating digital works of art that combine my love of the traditional methods of the Impressionist Masters and modern digital technology using my computer, natural media software and my digital stylus as my brush.
