This photograph is called "The Three Flames". I captured this image in the fall of 2010 in my home town of White Hall, Arkansas. The photograph has been processed with various filters and layers as well as digitally painted, to add both a vintage and "through the Viewfinder" (TTV) look to the finished print.

The Three Flames print is sized to an 8x10 and printed professionally on archival Metallic Kodak Professional Endura Paper. The metallic papers add a beautiful clarity to the fall colors of the photograph.

I've always loved the painted, vintage and grunge look in photographs and have used those techniques in many of my portrait photography, but not in my fine art photography. This new style combines the use of light digital painting, grunge layers and various filters and blending modes to create an entirely different style from traditional "realistic" photographic prints.
