This photograph is called "Look of the Lioness". I captured this image several years ago while visiting a local zoo with my camera club. This lioness was half hiding around a wall as I was trying to photograph her. The photograph has been processed with various filters and layers to add both a vintage and "through the Viewfinder" (TTV) look to the finished print.

The Look of the Lioness print is sized to an 8x10 and printed professionally on archival Metallic Kodak Professional Endura Paper. The metallic papers add a beautiful clarity to the colors of the photograph.

I've always loved the painted, vintage and grunge look in photographs and have used those techniques in many of my portrait photography, but not in my fine art photography. This new style combines the use of light digital painting, grunge layers and various filters and blending modes to create an entirely different style from traditional "realistic" photographic prints.
