The business end of this stopper is 100% made in the USA. Each is solid FDA food grade stainless steel, and the O-rings are nitrile rubber FDA food grade. These stoppers sit very low in the bottle so as to accentuate the artistic end of the stopper. They will never rust, pit or corrode due to the acids in wine or other beverages that may occur with other plated or imported stoppers.

This Stopper is made of an Exotic and/or very rare Wood that is a favorite material of my husbandâEUR(TM)s. These uncommon woods offer grain & color combinations that are unique among materials, and often it is the defects in the wood that create that one of a kind look.
