Depicted countless times in rock art, Kokopelli is a prehistoric flute playing mystical deity of fertility. A trickster, healer and storyteller he is sacred in several Southwestern Native American cultures. Many myths and legends surround Kokopelli. One of the most popular is as a traveler from village to village inspiring change of winter to spring with the gentleness of his flute playing. It is said that the villagers would sing and dance all night and by daybreak every maiden was with child.

This ACEO is made from 140 lb. watercolor paper with pastels and acrylic paint. It is sealed front and back for surface protection and will be sent in an acid-free premium card sleeve.
