For a real primitive or tribal look. Sabertooth? Well faux of course. Made entirely from polymer clay.

The "tooth" is done by making long ropes of translucent, and bone color clay, reducing, cut in half, add to the group, reduce again, cut, reduce.... The effect is remarkably similar to real bone. Be sure to look close. You can see the striations even in this tiny photo. Especially with the flat beads, also done with this faux bone mix.

I've also inlaid a few faux turquoise pieces to this "tooth." The trim and extra beads are made with a metallic copper clay.

I strung these on a simple cotton cord, nice and long. There is a clasp on the back (not pictured, sorry.) But honestly, you don't even need to use it. This is long enough to pull over your head.

I made several versions of this, decided to just keep one for me. It gets compliments every time I wear it.

I welcome comments. Good or not so much. It's how I improve.
