Product Description
Some time ago someone asked me for large pendants. I've been making them ever since.

This one features a large surface of mokume gane blues.

Mokume gane is a metal workers technique where sheets of metals are fused, pounded, distressed and when finally polished the end resulting pattern looks like burl wood.

Well the technique has been adopted by polymer clay artists.
Layers of various clays including translucent clay, dyed clay, and even gold leaf are fused, distressed, distorted and compressed. And when slices are taken off the resulting block, applied to objects, cured, sanded and buffed, the end product is amazing!

I love making mokume gane blocks. And making things with them.
But I'm not that interested in making jewelry. Just the pieces.

So here is a nice chunky size pendant, and some matching beads to go with it no charge.

Do look at the extra images. I included a close up which doesn't look near as nice as the real thing but it shows some of that gold leaf running through the clay.
And this pendant, I textured the back side. I don't usually do that.

This pendant does not come with a cord or chain.

I may at some point add a separate listing for custom cords. I just don't have enough in stock to do that now.
