Product Description
Collage done in watercolor on mat board with a copy of my original drawing of Patti, with a handwritten snippet from the song 'Ghost Dance'. Protected with a light coating of water-based, matte varnish.
This card is the last part of a 7-card series dedicated to 'La Smith', one of the most influential and ground-breaking artists of our time. Poet, artist and musician, Patti opened doors for thousands of young artists both male and female, and hers was one of the very first punk bands to be taken seriously and signed to a major label. Critically acclaimed and a huge inspiration for writers, artists and musicians everywhere, she's still going strong after more than 30 years.
This is the seventh, and final card of set 'A', subsequent series will be different and titled '1-7B', '1-7C', etc. The other designs from this series are sold out. The back of the card is signed/dated/numbered, with song title, album title, credit and year of release.
"Ghost Dance" is 3-1/2" x 2-1/2", (standard ACEO size)
