Here is a really pretty little trinket box. It measures 7" tall and 4" across. I cut the ears out of 1/8" thick wood using my scroll saw. Using a design by Sandi Strecker, I completely handpainted this piece using acrylic paints and then sealed it with acrylic varnish. The box itself is painted a light blue with white hopping bunnies around the outside. The rim of the box is painted a darker, country blue. The rim of the lid is pink and the top of the lid, the bunny's head and ears are all off-white. She has a lovely blue straw hat which has been cut to allow for the ears. The hat has been embellished with little artificial flowers. Her collar is a small crochet doily. The head has been screwed onto the lid to make it extra secure. She is a really nice little piece that would make a great gift or decoration. Thanks for looking!
