Here is an adorable cardinal Christmas tree ornament. Using a recycled light bulb and a pattern by Sandy Holman Sackett, I have completely painted this bulb using acrylic paints and then sealed it with acrylic varnish. I then glued red feathers onto the bulb for his wings and tail. Using a piece of red knit fabric, I sewed and glued on his hat and tied it with a gold cord and added more gold cord for hanging. The ornament measures approx. 7 inches long including the cord. This would make a great ornament for your tree or a super gift for that bird lover. Stand NOT included.
