Here is a lovely votive candle holder. I used to be able to purchase these unpainted, but the manufacturer quit making them so I had no choice but to make them myself! I cut the pieces out of 3/8" thick wood, drilled holes in the top for the votive cups, drilled holes in the sides for the wire hande, and shaped the handle. I then assembled all the pieces and completely handpainted the entire piece using a design created by Jeanine Maurer which features a lovely soft yellow colored background called french vanilla. Behind the design I have lightly sponged green and then painted the design which features lovely buttermilk-colored flower blossoms, blueberries, and lt. purple wildflowers. The wooden part of the holder measures approx. 10 inches long, 3 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. It comes complete with 3 glass votive cups and 3 white votive candles. A really pretty, decorative item that would look great in any home.
