Here is a really pretty book box. It measures 6" across, 7" tall, and 2" thick. Using a design by Priscilla Hauser, I completely handpainted the entire book box using acrylic paints. I then sealed it using acrylic varnish. The base color of the box is called tapioca. The blossoms are a dark orangy-coral color. The leaves are done in 3 shades of green. The design is only painted on the one side. This particular box opens beside the binding and the hinges are on the side of the pages. I really love how this turned out. This would look lovely on a dresser or end table or desk. You could use it to store/hide small objects. Thanks for looking!
