Here is a very unique handmade, handpainted item. I cut out a 4 1/2 inch long piece of 2x4 wood. I then drilled a hole in the top and placed a gold candle ring to give it a finished look. I painted the 2x4 dark blue. Then using a design by Pam Tyriver and Bev Johnson, I cut out a cute snowman wearing a colorful top hat and bow tie from 1/4 inch wood and painted them using acrylic paints. This piece was then glued to the 2x4 making a cute and unusual candle holder. I then sealed it all with acrylic varnish. This comes with a 5 inch taper candle with a decorative ribbon attached. The finished piece with candle measures approx. 9 inches tall, 4 inches across and 2 inches thick. I have signed the back of the candle holder and placed a sticker which reads "For Decorative Use Only" I do not recommend lighting the candle!!! A really unique handmade, handpainted item that would make a great decoration or gift that could be used straight thru the winter!
