*About The Piece*
The piece itself is an homage to Rebeca Mojica of Blue Buddha Boutique. This weave was actually one of the very first that I learned and is credited to Rebeca. I made this piece to honor her for the incredible thing that she did (see below in the A Very Generous Donation section of this listing). The bracelet measures 7 1/2" and is made out of pink anodized aluminum jump rings. It closes with a toggle clasp.

*What I'm Doing*
This year, I have taken on an incredible challenge. I will be walking 60 miles over the course of 3 days and raising a minimum of $2,300 for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure (aka: the breast cancer walk). All money raised by this event will go towards breast cancer research and breast health programs.

*The Pink Warrior Collection Inspiration*
This year, the 3 Day is using the song Pink Warrior by Candy Coburn as their theme song. My warrior woman roots inspired me to use my love of the defensive art of chain maille (worn by warriors of the past) in the fight against breast cancer.
