The Baltic amber pendant in this piece measures approximately 45mm long by 40mm wide. This is true Baltic amber and with a magnifying lense or jeweler's loupe you can see the insects that were encased in the liquid amber thousands of years ago. The necklace measures approximately 20" plus a 2" drop for the pendant. The body of the necklace is made up of three strands of amber chips and sterling silver and has a very ethnic feel.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
The Baltic amber focal piece in this necklace is absolutely beautiful. I made a simple sterling silver wrap for the cabachon because I did not want to distract from the natural amber.
