These oval mosaic magnesite beads are as interesting as they are beautiful. The shades of purple run from a light lavendar to deeper and richer tones. Magnesite takes dye easily which is why it is often confused with turquoise when colored appropriately, or it can be found in many bright colors when treated.
The magnesite in this necklace is complimented by the sterling silver beads and purple Swarovski crystals. The open spacing (or negative spacing) makes this necklace lightweight.
