Product Description
Heirloom Canary Yellow Melon. This heirloom melon produces 4 - 5 lb. fruit. This melon gets its name from the bright Canary Yellow color. The rippled rind is hard and has rubbery properties, but can be cut easily with a serrated knife. When ripe, the rind has a slightly waxy feel. The flesh ripens from light green to white, all the way to the rind. It has a flavor similar to Honeydew, sweet and refreshing. The texture is less dense than Honeydew, but not mushy. We find it to not be musky. I think it has a hint of Apricot taste to it.
