This bead was made for the Handmade in Europe guild challenge "Woodland". Being from Sweden in northern Europe, I immediatly got a vision of our huge spruce forrests that cover a great part of our country.

The sprouces are very large and winter green and the forrests are very dence. Nota lot can grow on the forrest floor.

So mainly, all you see as you drive by are a green mass od twitches and nails, pointing to the sky.

And that's what I've tried to visualize in this bead!

The bead is 29 mm high (see picture with centimeter scale for further reference). I try to get the coloures in my pictures as accurate as possible, but please keep in mind that they can look different on different monitors.

All my lampwork beads - handmade by me in my home studio - are carefully kiln annealed with a digital control for durability and they are properly cleaned.
