Fine silver, one faceted amethyst bead and three smooth fluorite rondeles make up this dangling pendant of 1.75 inches It hangs on a tiny sterling silver ball chain with a length of 18 inches. The fine silver part of this pendant was created from the imprint of a spiny sea urchin shell, and was further stylized carved and designed for the amethyst violet bead that is nested in it's center. Violet and Silver pair well don't you think? For those of you not familiar with fluorite, it is a mineral and crystal that is clear and light violet in color. Surprisingly, it is used as a flux in the smelting industry but has pretty enough qualities to be used as semi-precious gemstones. The little beads in this pendant are showing slight blends of quartz and violet but it does come in more contrasting colors and even with a tough of yellow.
