This is a unique art form using instruments and techniques developed by myself since 2000. You will not find anything like this anywhere else in the world. I also call it sand calligraphy or beach calligraphy. The letters and designs are carved directly into the sand and photographed before the ocean claims it.



ArtFire is the first avenue I have explored for selling prints online.

It only struck me afterwards, while working on the photograph, how appropriate the approaching storm was here. I then deliberately darkened its edges and enhanced the contrast. Is the storm there for the grace and mercy or are the grace and mercy there for the storm.Why is mercy carved apart from grace? Because the two don't always go together.
