Mold for making Sea Urchins...small ones. The finished urchin will measure a scant approx. 7/8th inch or 22 mm. I offer molds between 3/4 inch (18mm) to urchins measuring between 1 1/4 - 1 3/8.

Flexible silicone mold...no release agent needed. You can use this mold to create candy, chocolate, ice cubes, soaps and candles, but please be aware that if you use it for other than food items, you should no longer use it for food items and dedicate it to non-edibles.

The mold can withstand a temperature of up to 395 Fahrenheit, so if you need to bake your item in it, this is possible. Use an accurate oven thermometer if you need to bake it with your item.

Because I hand make each mold, there may be slight imperfections. My molds are done in limited runs as sea urchins tend to loose their raised dots when molded over and over.
Please be aware that the one you will receive may differ slightly from the one shown, but will still produce beautiful urchins.

These molds can be used with all brands of polymer clay, but softer clay like Premo is recommended as it molds the best detail. Harder clays won't press well into all the recesses.

Make pendants, beads, use as cabochons for bead embroidery...let your imagination guide you.
