This no chare pdf is an updated list of the durable Delica 11s 'Safe Beads' I have compiled based on the Miyuki Durability Bead List. This PDF lists the 531 durable Delica 11s by colors. I also have a complimentary pdf that lists the durable Delica 11s by Mfg #.

I don't suggest any dyed or galvanized beads in my patterns, based on the Miyuki Durability List, because they fade and the color rubs off with time. Satin beads are also left off this list because they tend to cut the beading thread and they break very easily because they are thinner than other Delicas. The colors of my designs are only suggestions, but please try to avoid dyed, galvanized and satin beads in your jewelry, so you won't be disappointed later. I want your beaded art to last forever.

This PDF also lists the finishes of the durable beads and they are also coded as to whether they will either pop or recede in your beadwork. The P or R after the Delica 11s Mfg # represents whether the bead (P)ops or comes forward or (R)ecedes. PR or RP indicates that the bead can either pop or recede depending on the type of bead finish it is next to. Refer to this list when you want to change the suggested colors of my patterns.

This PDF also has an inventory column to jot down your personal notes on colors. Print the PDF to take with you when bead shopping. Some customers have even downloaded the PDF to their blackberry.

I hope you find my designs interesting and stimulating, as I love to dabble in geometric, abstract, repeating, tiled and tessellated patterns. You will have conversational pieces of art when you wear my designs. I started designing because I got tired of redesigning 6 to 7 inch bracelet patterns, making them longer and sometimes twice as wide as the original pattern. My patterns are generally between 7 to 8 inches long and 1.5 to 2.25 inches wide. Of course you can make my patterns shorter, thinner, longer or wider because they are usually repeat patterns or use size 15s to create a smaller bracelet.

My patterns can be used to make: cuff bracelet, sun catcher, panel, hatband, bookmark, choker, credit card holder, business card case, checkbook cover, amulet bag, cosmetic bag, wall hanging, appliqué, belt, guitar strap, eye glass case, pouch, coaster, change purse, earrings, pendants, napkin rings, etc.

Be sure to get all 4 of my complimentary Pdfs, for size 11s & 15s, which list the Delica 'Safe Beads' I have compiled.
