I call this a guiltless diamond ring because it was made using idustrial diamonds from Canada. The tiny sparklers (over a carat's worth) are set in a brass cup filled with jeweler's grade resin. A text transparency with a definition of "luna" is set over the diamonds, which show through like a pile of stars. The cup is set on an antique patterned brass band. Size 7.

I believe that the diamond trade out of Africa is one of the most corrupt industries in the world. It costs human life and devestates the landscape. I have vowed to never use conflict diamonds (or any "fine" diamond) in my work. The diamonds I use are industrial grade, from Canada or the United States.
