This silver cored Lampwork Bead was made from a base of Cobalt glass with layers of dots added with turquoise and white glass. The layered dots make the bead a star shape with it's 5 arms.

This bead features a large 5 mm hole and will fill Pandora, Troll or Chamilia style bracelets. I added the silver core with sterling silver tubing.

Measurements: 8 mm by by about 16 (raised dots to raised dots)

I take care when making my lampwork beads and always put my beads straight in the kiln as I am making them. They are held at a temperature of 950 degrees until my bead making session is over. The temperature is then slowly ramped down over several hours to elimate any stress on the glass as it cools.
