The 99.9% pure silver rectangular abstract pendant is an art jewelry treasure hand sculpted, sanded, fired, oxidized and polished by me to a lovely satin finish. The embedded stone is a faceted Cubic Zirconia. Pendant measures 1 1/8" (28mm) long and 3/4" (18mm) at its widest.

The main body of the necklace is a wire wrapped collection of gems including rock quarts chips, faceted flourite, serpentine jade and Swarovski Elements crystal bicones. Wire wrapping is done with 24ga sterling silver wire. Chain and other components are all sterling silver. Necklace length is 18.5" including extender.

I hand sculpt Art Clay Silver by rolling it out pie crust style, cutting out a shape and embellishing it with hand formed leaves and flowers or adding texture with shells or other items. Many of my pieces are abstract or organic shapes.
After drying the clay to the bone dry stage, it is fired with a hand held torch to about 1500˚F. At this point the piece is 99.9% pure silver. It is polished and assembled with semi-precious gems, sterling silver and Swarovski Elements®. I use wire wrapping techniques as well as beading cord to assemble the fine silver pendants into necklaces and earrings.
