This white queen measures 2 1/4" tall. The red pawn measures 1 5/16" tall.
These are vintage plastic chess pieces that have been painted with several coats of lacquer. The bottoms are finished off with an inset layer of cardstock, covered with matching colors of felt. All of the findings are sterling silver. They hang on an 18" silverplated ballchain necklace.

My first Chess Piece necklace was featured by Etsy shop Montserrat in a treasury along with other related items in August of 2008. It was a thrill to actually be the first person to design a necklace like this.
