These novelty sewing buttons are handmade using japanese fabrics. These shank buttons make the perfect embellishment for clothing as well as unique closures for handbags and purses. These covered buttons also dress up any hand knit or crocheted cardigan sweater.

The buttons are all made by me. I do not use a button machine. They are all handcrafted and pressed by me, myself and I:) I create these unique sets with all of your crafting projects in mind. As well, our handmade sewing buttons are created especially for all of your diy crafting projects in mind. The perfect button for your knitting, sewing, crafting or scrap-booking project!

Each large button has a metal shank on the back, making it easy for fastening and will lay flat after it is attached. Each of the handcrafted buttons is created by hand, by me. While it can be a tedious process, I use a button mold so that I can perfectly align each fabric print on each and every individual button. No button machine is used in the process of making my buttons.

1.5 inch buttons: 1 for $2.50, 3 for $6.00 5 for $9.00
2 inch buttons: 1 for $3.00 3 for $7.50, 5 for $10.00

Flat Back Buttons: Any of the buttons you see listed in the shop can be ordered in flat back instead of the traditional shank back. If you want your order to have flat backs, just include a note at the time of checkout and Ill be happy to remove the shanks!

Sewing Button Sizing: If you need a different size button than what is listed in the shop, please contact me to set up a custom order listing for you! Button sizes include: These buttons can be ordered in 1/2 in, 5/8 in, 3/4 in, 7/8 in, 1 1/8 in, 1 1/2 in and 2 in sizes as well. If you need a different quantity of a button that is listed in the shop, please contact me so I can edit the quantity you need!

Our sewing buttons are washable. We have personally tested many of our buttons in our own washing machine with many different types of loads of laundry using both cold and warm water and regular detergent. They hold up beautifully. Always hang/lay-flat to dry. We do not recommend a dryer or dry cleaning.
