Every zip file includes a black and white pattern, a color pattern and an image of the completed pattern.

I strive to create patterns that are both fun to do and on the challenging side. Since my patterns are from my own artwork and graphics, I have worked hard to ensure that the patterns best represent the actual colors of the originals. I don't always go with the least amount of colors if I believe that a photo has a rich colorful existence that should be preserved in the finished pattern. That is why I present these in a range of skill level.

My own grading system usually indicates that anything at 50 or below colors fall into the easy to intermediate range, while over 50 goes to advanced for under 100 and expert for those patterns that are not only rich in color, but are large in size. If I add backstitch or half stitch, I will rank the pattern higher regardless of the number of colors due to the skill level. All of my patterns should be fun, and I find it enjoyable to sit and watch tv and do some stitching at the end of the day. I love puzzles, and I love a challenge.

For backstories on some of my images and patterns, I post on my blog dedicated to my cross stitch patterns. http://x-stitch-patterns.blogspot.com/ I also announce freebies there too.
