Decorated Box Gift Box
A small sturdy card board box with a fitting lid has been covered by me in silk dupion and cotton fabrics along with various ribbon and trimmings.
I have also covered two buttons for decoration to match. I also made the Suffolk Puffs.
There is some hand stitching involved but mostly glue and double side tape has been used.
This isn't an expensive item but it is nicely made.
* Please note on one of my photos that I have add the words ' Tiny Mark' This is a spot of glue which has shown up through the fabric. It is inside the box though and doesn't really spoil it. It can be seen just above the words.

As you can see the inside and the outside have both been decorated attractively.
This little box is lovely just for decoration or for holding trinkets or a piece of jewellery maybe.

Measures approximately; 3.75 inches square and is approximately 2.5inches high with lid on.Height does not include the decoration.

I love keeping hold of 'too good to throw away boxes' and thinking of something to do with them. This one got a fabric makeover.
