A natural toned string of four knitted birds. Cream crocheted flowers with black wooden beads in the centre of them add to this string too along with green and dark natural coloured wooden beads.
One large,, hand painted, bead finishes this string off attractively along with a large silver coloured bell.

This string of birds looks far better hanging away from a wall and not up against it if at all possible. The last picture shows my string of birds which I have hanging in my dining room in front of the patio window.

I have machine knitted the fabric and then steamed it to make it easier to work with and then cut and sewn the birds from it.
The birds are stuffed with a polyester filling. The beaks and the wings are made of felt and I have hand stitched them to the bird. I have also hand stitched the bead eyes on too.
I have hand embroidered various patterns on the wings in embroidery silks.
