A natural toned string of four knitted birds, with earthy toned beads and a gold coloured bell. Autumnal shades felt leaves in two shades of golden brown add to this string too. Some of the beads are plastic and some are wooden.

This string of birds looks far better hanging away from a wall and not up against it if at all possible. The last picture shows my string of birds which I have hanging in my dining room in front of the patio window.

I have machine knitted the fabric and then steamed it to make it easier to work with and then cut and sewn the birds from it.
The birds are stuffed with a polyester filling. The beaks and the wings are made of felt and I have hand stitched them to the bird. I have also hand stitched the bead eyes on too.
I have hand embroidered various patterns on the wings in embroidery silks.

The length, including the loop at the top and the bell at the bottom is approximately 29.5 inches/75cms.

Each bird is approximately 5 inches/13cms by 2.75 inches/7cms.
