A charming little front clasping copper necklace featuring a handmade oxidized copper leaf with a drop of smooth pastel blue kyanite.

This charming little necklace is seventeen inches long and can easily go from play to work. This is a casual style that is so unusual that it's sure to get compliments.

To make this necklace I used heavy copper wire pounded along one end into a thin, flat leaf shape, then twisted the other end into an organic shaped tendril. I fire colored the entire piece and the chain, then hung a beautiful soft blue kyanite smooth flat teardrop from the bottom of the tendril.

The handmade clasp is a dainty hook that attaches to the tendril in front so it's as easy to take off as it is to put on.
