My newest simple wire wrapped crystal necklace features a really large quartz crystal that is nearly water clear. I wrapped it in bright copper wire, then wove a basket around the top for durability and stability. This necklace is simple enough, and large enough, to please both men and women.


The strong soldered twenty seven inch chain is also bright bright copper, as is the small lobster claw clasp. The clasp hooks directly to the bail of the pendant; the clasp is roughly the same size as the links in the chain and virtually disappears(it may never be used since the chain is long enough to slip on over most hairdos, but just in case you ever need it, it's there for you).

The careful basket weave around the top of the crystal is more or less molded to the organic shape of the natural crystal. This gives the crystal a lot of protection from wear and tear at the drill holes where it might otherwise chip from normal wear and tear.

This crystal pendant is very large and showy. I made it to ride right at the breast bone. The long chain allows you to wear it over heavy sweaters without problems. The crystal is nearly water clear with tiny "baby crystals" scattered across the exterior of the top, peeking between the layers of wire wrapping.
