Shimmering and flashing, nearly mesmerizing large peacock pearls float on hand crafted sterling silver wire wraps and fittings. They are supported by a pair of dizzyingly gorgeous midnight blue fairy opal with cobalt blue fire, which in turn are hung from hand forged sterling silver 'swan neck" earring hook wires.

These elegant earrings can go from the board room to the ball room without missing a beat, then take you anywhere else you have in mind. They're a lovely light weight for their incredible size and the stunning show they make. These classic earrings are an inch and a half long to frame your face and drop along your neck. These earrings are suitable for most neck lengths.

Faceted pearls and fairy opal are both fairly new to the jewelry trade and both are equally stunning. Faceted pearls are grown for almost double the time that "regular" pearls are, and are faceted by hand to reveal a unique optical illusion. These pearls are fascinating to examine up close and personal-like, and there's just not really any way to show the effect with a still picture.

Fairy opal is a partially man made stone. This stone starts life as a blend of dark red sandstone thickly laced with flecks of brilliantly fiery opal. It actually sounds prettier than it is in nature! This material has to be mined carefully in order to preserve the cohesiveness, it can't be reconstituted. Once it has been mined it is cooked with a mixture of minerals that make a type of glass that penetrates the stone completely, making this stone a bit more durable than regular precious opal.

In my humble opinion this is one of those times when the hand of man placed lightly on nature produces spectacular results. I love using these beautiful little opals in my jewelry and strive to do them justice. My goal is always to present an item that will give years of service and pleasure.
